Laser Hair Removal

Hair grows in cycles. Hairs on our body and head have different growth cycles. Some are in the active stage and others are in their resting stage. Hair on any part of the body can be treated - face, underarms, Bikini Lines, arms and legs.

The heat from the Diode Laser is absorbed by dark hair only and not white or fair hair. The heat travels down the shaft of the hair to the follicle cells. If the hair is in the gowing phase, then these cells are killed and the hair does not grow again. If they are in the resting phase, they will probably re-grow but often a little finer. Only 30-40% of hairs are in the growing phase at any one time, so several treatments (6 or more) are required at 4-6 week intervals.
