Thread Veins

Laser Removal of Facial Thread Veins

Thread veins on the face can safely and effectively be treated with our diode laser. The heat from the laser is absorbed by the vein which has become damaged and slowly shrinks in size.

The laser fades or even erase's the veins. 2 - 3 treatments are required 6-8 weeks apart.

Micro-sclerotherapy

Micro-sclerotherapy is a technique used for injecting purple, blue or red thread veins on the legs.

The method consists of injecting a small amount of harmless irritant solution into the thread veins. It can normally be expected to produce up to 80%-90% improvement in the majority of patients, but may require several treatments about 2 months apart.

When they become so narrow that blood cannot travel through them, the colour slowly fades. Several treatments may be required about 2 months apart.
